📱✨ The SFPS Digital Wellness Trading Cards have officially been delivered to schools!
To celebrate the launch, SFPS hosted a special “Rip Day” at Salazar Elementary, where students received and opened their card packs for the first time.
We were excited to welcome local media, including KRQE News 13, to capture the moment and hear directly from students about why digital wellness matters.
During his interview, Gio, a 5th grader, thoughtfully shared that the Digital Wellness Trading Card initiative is important because he often “doesn’t touch grass” — a funny and honest reminder of why healthy screen habits, balance, and time away from devices matter.
Families are encouraged to review the cards with their children and use them as a starting point for conversations about digital wellness. Learn more: www.sfps.info/article/2881509

It honors the voices of young people while reminding us of their strength, dreams, and capacity to inspire change, along with their love for the community of Santa Fe.
