1st Grade - Beverly Fornaciari

 

Beverley has been a primary educator for over 25 years in Santa Fe NM. Her experience has been in varied school settings, including Montessori Schools and small independent private schools before joining Santa Fe Public Schools. She has a passion for struggling readers and focusing also on her student's social/emotional needs and skills. Her education is vast and diverse. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Education from College of Santa Fe, Masters of Arts fromStudio Art New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, Level 1 Orton Gillingham Certificate from Institute of Multisensory Education. She is also a Primary Montessori Certified teacher from North American Montessori School.

Ms. Beverley weaves mathematics throughout the day instilling a love of numbers and geometry. She enjoys learning, and believes that is what makes her a strong teacher, always watching and learning from other educators as well as her students. Her absolute joy and love for Salazar Elementary School has made this part of her journey as a teacher, the richest and most rewarding.
